Teesside University Futsal Club are getting ready to take on 15 other national champions in the European Universities Futsal Championship in Zagreb next week, after only finding out they were in the tournament on Wednesday!

Helvecia Futsal Club continued their domination of English futsal with an 11-8 extra time win over Spartans in the FA Futsal League Playoff final, despite trailing 4-1 early in the game.
 
Teesside to represent Middlesbrough in FA Cup

Middlesbrough Futsal Club will not be taking part in The FA Futsal Cup this season to allow Teesside University a better chance in the competition.  Middlesbrough were due to play in the regional qualifiers on 4th July, but this would have meant none of the Teesside players would have been eligible to play in the finals for Teesside who qualified by winning BUCS in March.
